One treat that has to be a favourite of most dogs is liver cake - they cannot get enough of it! Although it's quite rich so should be given in small quantities. I can guarantee your dog will beg for more though!
450g lamb or pig liver
450g self raising flour
3 eggs, beaten
Preheat oven to 180C. Combine the milk and eggs and whisk in a large bowl. Add the flour and mix well. Blend the liver in a food processor then add to the bowl, giving it a good stir. Empty the mixture into a greased baking tray and bake for 45 minutes. Leave to cool then cut up into squares. These can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge or frozen to give at a later date.
